In a separate article on our blog, we mention some of the basics about the upcoming World Cup 2014. Hopefully, they’ll be helpful for readers who might not be familiar with the World Cup’s history and format. Now, it’s time to get down to a few more specifics.
This year’s matches will be held in 12 different Brazilian cities (Brazil is the host country for the 2014 World Cup competition). Among others, the host cities include Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Manaus, and Brasilia. Rio de Janeiro hotels will be at a particular premium because that beautiful city is the site of the competition’s final, championship match. That’s not to say that Brasilia hotels (or hotels in any of the other host cities) will be easy to come by, because they won’t. You’ll need to book your room well in advance no matter which of the host cities you decide to visit. The same thing goes for your flight. Plane tickets will get hard to come by if you wait too long. If you go through a site like Airlines Northwest, you’ll be able to book your flight, hotel and rental car (if you want one) quite easily, provided you do it early, before everything’s sold out. Booking through Airlines Northwest is fast, safe, easy and convenient. Continue reading

It’s been a long, hard winter in many parts of the world, and it’s really just getting started. We’ve suffered through frigid temperatures, icy winds and way too much snow. We’re all sick and tired of driving on icy roads and scraping the snow from our cars and driveways. We’re tired of being stuck in the house because it’s too cold to do much of anything other than shiver and try to stay warm.
Isn’t it time to consider taking a winter vacation? A trip to a place that offers sunny skies and warm, dry air instead of the continual cold and snow we’ve been dealing with? Continue reading
You’ve probably heard of an important recent ruling by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). It’s made headlines on the TV news and in all the country’s newspapers. We’re talking about the FAA’s recent pronouncement that airplane passengers can now use their mobile devices throughout the entire flight, including take-off and landing. Continue reading
